Convair XF-92A. Proof-of-concept airplane for a projected F-92 Interceptor project, this was America's first delta-winged jet and though the F-92 fighter never materielized, the flight data recorded by this airplane led directly to the F-102, F106, B-58 and many other delta-winged aircraft.
