North American NA-16

North American NA-16: This fixed-gear trainer is a 1935 design that continued to evolve through the T-28 of 1951. It was powered by a Pratt & Whitney R-1340 radial but was made with many other powerplants and under many other designations such as NA, NJ, BT and BC. They were used as combat trainers, basic trainers, general purpose aircraft and bombers. Several foreign air forces flew the NA-16.
