Petlyakov Pe-2
Petlyakov Pe-2: One of the finest and most versatile Soviet aircraft of WWII. Ranks with the German Ju-88 for adaptability. Deployed from 1941 as a bomber and ground attack aircraft it had been conceived in 1938 as a 2-seat fighter, then dive bomber, only later standardized as a light bomber. After the war it carried the NATO codename "Buck".
