Welcome to Tucker's Virtual Air Museum.
This is a project by Tuck and Eugene to dust off, photograph and document Tuck's collection of over 900 model airplanes, which he has built over the last 30 years or so. The range of subjects is broad - covering everything from early flight to aircraft that haven't been built yet. Most are injection molded plastic kits, but the collection also includes vacuum formed, resin, metal and scratch built models. The vast majority of the models are 1/72 scale, for the reason that very large aircraft such as the B52 and Hindenberg (a future project) can also be included in the same scale. The collection includes helicopters of all sorts, experimental aircraft, bombers of every size and shape, fighters from every country imaginable, seaplanes, airships, VTOL aircraft, baloons, fantasy airplanes, and even a UFO. Needless to say, this project is going to take some time, as we both work for a living. We will be adding more categories as time goes on, so please come back to see the progress we have made. Enjoy!
